Attend the Times Square Event
Help kick off Down Syndrome Awareness Month in the heart of New York City! More than 200 photos of individuals with Down syndrome from all over the world are selected from thousands of photo submissions for the NDSS Times Square Video.
On the morning of the New York City Buddy Walk, the Times Square Video is shown on the MTV plasma screen beginning at 10:15 AM and will be re-played at approximately 10:35 AM. We gather to watch the video at the pedestrian mall on Broadway between 44th and 45th Streets.
At 11:00 NDSS buses are available to transport everyone from Times Square to the New York City Buddy Walk site at The Great Hill in Central Park. The opening ceremony begins at 12:00 PM.
