Hi!  My name is Matthew and I am almost 2 years old.  I love it when my family reads me stories -- I could listen to them all day.  I also like to watch Bear in the Big Blue house and chase around the house.

My family is very proud of all I can do and how strong I am.  They also say that we have become even closer as a family since I was born.

My parents want me to live a great life and to do everthing that I want as I grow up.  They also hope that as times goes on, people will continue to see me as a person first and not to treat me any differently because I have Down syndrome.

Although I haven't participated in a Buddy Walk yet, I can't wait.  I hope to go to my first Buddy Walk this year!
