Emma Jayne, Minneapolis, MN

Hi! My name is Emma Jayne, and I am 7 months old. I love playing with my family and poking my kitties in the eye! I chat all the time and punctuate all of my conversations with raspberries. I love music, “Baby Einstein” videos, my “Exersaucer,” and my daddy's beard. Sometimes I pull on his beard so hard that tears come to his eyes, but I know those are tears of love! If you want to find out all about my world, you can take a peek at WonderBabe, my very own corner of Cyberspace: http://www.babiesonline.com/babies/e/emmajayne/

I am very proud of how much I can fit into my mouth at once. I have also learned to hold my own bottle and help my spoon find my mouth. I have been ambi-rolling for man months, and I am getting closer to sitting independently every day! I am also very proud that my kitties haven't poked me in the eye yet...though my mommy is just waiting for it to happen.

I am so excited for my future! All I want is to be happy and surrounded by love and support. I will strive to be all I can be, and I can't wait to show the world who I am - and all that I am. Look out world - I have arrived!

This year I will be joining my mommy and daddy in the Seventh Annual St. Paul Buddy Walk hosted by the Down Syndrome Association of Minnesota. We will be walking on October 3, in Como Park.

I don't have a favorite Buddy Walk memory because I am so wee that I have only just begun. I can't wait to make memories this year at my first Buddy Walk! Wouldn't you like to make some memories with me?
