Mac and Kit, Marblehead, OH

Mac, age 6, loves going to school, singing, dancing, The Wiggles, swimming, and helping take care of his little sister, Kit. Kit, age 2, loves playing with her brother and getting into EVERYTHING! Mac can't wait to learn to tie his shoes and to ride a two-wheeled bike. He's also working on being a good swimmer, a good student, and maybe even a Wiggle. Right now, little sister Kit just wants to be exactly like her big brother.

Mac and Kit's mom says, "As a parent, I'm proud of everything they do. This year, Mac is in Kindergarten, and he has made me proud over and over again by his accomplishments both big and small. Kit's many accomplishments are just beginning."

The family lives in Marblehead, OH, and has participated in the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Toledo Buddy Walk for the past two years. Mac and Kit's mom says that they all really enjoy the Buddy Walks because they are a great opportunity for family and friends to rally together for a wonderful cause. They also look forward to the entertainment of Chris Burke and his band. This past year, the family had the opportunity to participate in the New York City Buddy Walk and had a wonderful time.
