PALM BEACH GARDENS - The city's "Taste of The Gardens" green market will begin its fourth season Sunday at Gardens Park, behind city hall, 10500 N. Military Trail. Vendors will sell fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, flowers and arts and crafts. The market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Sunday through April 16.

A local celebration of Down Syndrome Awareness Month happens Sunday at John Prince Park in suburban Lake Worth. Registration for the 11th annual Buddy Walk for awareness and acceptance of all people with Down syndrome begins at 8 a.m. For $15, registrants receive a T-shirt and can participate in the mile-long advocacy walk, which begins at 9 a.m., then have lunch. There will be a bounce house, pony rides and a rock climbing wall for kids. The money raised supports local families who have children with Down syndrome.
