Kohl's Presents the 2005 Foresters Fourth Annual Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome to Benefit the Trisomy 21/ Down Syndrome Program at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

WAYNE, Pa., Sept 26, 2005 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Join the more than 4,000
Friends of Trisomy 21 Center for Down Syndrome at The Children's Hospital of
Philadelphia as Kohl's Department Stores present the 2005, 4th Annual Foresters
Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome on Sunday, October 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at
Villanova University Stadium.
Participants can register and pick up their Buddy Walk materials and t-shirt at
9:30 a.m. Families can enjoy a Nickelodeon Show featuring the Rugrats at 11 a.m.
The 2-mile fun walk, which takes place around the stadium track, begins at 11:30
a.m.
Parking is across the street on Lancaster Avenue, or handicap access is adjacent
to the stadium.
Enjoy great food and entertainment for all ages plus raffle prizes, moonbounces,
facepainters, "tattoo" artists, a basketball throw with an NBA referee, soccer
shoot, football toss, martial arts, jugglers, balloons and more. Meet Eagles
cheerleaders, the Phillie Phanatic and other mascots. See the Mummers and listen
to the happy tunes of Mr. Pete and DJ Rockin Dave. Individuals or teams can

The Friends of Trisomy 21 Center at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia was
established in June 2002. The organization is designed to support the
individuals, their families and healthcare teams with educational material,
healthcare collaboration and a comprehensive review of developmental,
behavioral, educational, psychosocial and medical issues prevalent to
individuals with Trisomy 21. In addition to developmental behavioral pediatrics
and neurology, the Trisomy 21 Program at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
has access to numerous subspecialties throughout the Hospital. Referrals are
made based upon findings during an evaluation at the Trisomy 21 clinic.
