Two days full of things to do in the Triangle

Mick Jagger and beer brewers in Durham. Harley riders and charity walkers in Raleigh. The Triangle comes to life this weekend with a surge of philanthropy, gastronomy and revelry. Here are some events you'll find on tap today and Sunday.

HOG WILD

The Ray Price Capital City Bike Fest will bring motorcyclists and others to downtown Raleigh today from noon to 11 p.m. Music will include Aaron Tippin and Nantucket.

IT'S A GAS, GAS, GAS

The Rolling Stones will rock Duke University's Wallace Wade Stadium tonight. Look for Mick and Keith to take the stage about 8:30.

LIQUID PLEASURES

Beer connoisseurs will gather at the old Durham Athletic Park today for the World Beer Festival. Hope you have your tickets already. It's sold out.

RUNNING FOR HOPE

The Autism Society of North Carolina's Ribbon Run will take place around Raleigh's City Market this morning.

WALKING FOR HOPE

Sunday will bring the 17th Annual Thad and Alice Eure Walk for Hope. The event, which raises money for the research and treatment of mental illness, starts at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Angus Barn on U.S. 70.

WALKING FOR AWARENESS

At Cary's Bond Park today, the seventh annual Buddy Walk will be sponsored by the Triangle Down Syndrome Network. The event aims to promote awareness and acceptance of people with Down syndrome.

CENTER FOR THE ARTS

Downtown Durham will welcome the annual arts event CenterFest from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
