Details: The walk will take place in Hanna Park in Utica, NY. Activities will include a craft table for kids and a Wall of Fame highlighting the outstanding achievements of children and adults with Down syndrome. Speakers and honored guests will include the Mayor of Utica, David Roefaro, as well as the Executive Director of Upstate Cerebral Palsy, Louis Tehan. The event is scheduled rain or shine. A $10.00 donation per walking group is encouraged but optional to help support the Mohawk Valley Down Syndrome Support and Awareness Group of Upstate Cerebral Palsy. Registration forms can be obtained by calling 724-6907, ext. 2276 or at the walk itself.
